"Wow" is a dance-pop song performed by Australian singer Kylie Minogue for her tenth studio album, X (2007). The song was written by Minogue, Greg Kurstin, Karen Poole and produced by Kurstin. The song was released as the album's second single in Australia on February 16, 2008, and in the United Kingdom on February 18, 2008. Kylie performed the track at the 2008 Brit Awards ceremony.[1]

On December 15, 2007, Minogue performed "Wow" on the fourth season finale of The X Factor.[2] Following the performance, "Wow" debuted on the UK Singles Chart at number thirty-two on December 24, 2007, based solely on digital download sales.[3] Ten weeks later, the song reached number 5.[4] In February 2008, the song topped the UK Upfront Club chart.[5] In the UK, "Wow" reached number five with it's physical release on February 24, 2008 and reached a peak position of number one on the UK Physical Singles Chart.[4]

In Australia, "Wow" was officially solicited to radio on January 14, 2008.[6] The song debuted on the Digital Track chart at number 28 on February 11, 2008 and rose to number 22 the following week, then followed by a rise to number 20 in it's third week.[7] It has since peaked at number 5 on the combined (digital downloads and CD sales) chart and number 1 on the physical singles chart.
