"Milkshake" is a pop/R&B song written and produced by The Neptunes for American singer Kelis's third studio album Tasty (2003). The song was released as the album's first single in the winter of 2003. It reached the top ten in the United Kingdom, Australia and the Netherlands. In the United States, "Milkshake" became Kelis's biggest success to date on Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number three. "Milkshake" is Kelis's biggest hit worldwide, peaking at number four in the United World Chart with more than two million points total, and has been included in the countdown 2004 (Top 40) at number thirty-five (2.603.000 points), though she subsequently beat it with "Trick Me" at number twenty-seven (2.894.000 points).

In the United Kingdom, "Milkshake" has become the biggest hit of Kelis's career, staying at number two on the UK Singles Chart for four weeks and selling 225,000 copies.

The song earned Kelis a Grammy Award nomination in 2004, in the category "Best Urban/Alternative Performance".
