Sly Fox - Let's Go All The Way (Diffusion Remix) Remixed by Diffusion / Mastermix The first time I heard this song I was pretty shocked. Not because of the lyrics but because of the beat. I'd heard that beat before in Fly Girl by the Boogie Boys. It was common practice for rappers to sample, steal or borrow beats from pop acts but this was the first time I'd seen that practice in reverse. The fact that both Sly Fox and the Boogie Boys shared the same record label probably had alot to do with it. My guess is someone at Capitol Records realized this beat was wasted on the Boogie Boys since rap music had little market penetration at that time. So why not give the beat to a pop act and add some trance like Zs to the mix? Instant hit.
